This page explains how the Window Cleaning Quote & Profit Android application handles information. It supplements the general Alviora Apps privacy page and applies to Window Cleaning Quote & Profit specifically.
Window Cleaning Quote & Profit is an on-device calculator. The pricing inputs you enter are the working data of the app, and the app does not send them anywhere. The only copies that leave your device are an estimate you choose to share yourself and whatever Android includes in your own device backup, both described below.
Information you enter
Window Cleaning Quote & Profit is built around figures you type in: window counts and glass area, the rates you charge, add-ons, difficulty factors, labour and overhead costs, travel, margins, the quotes you save, the actual results you record against them, and any pricing presets and cost profiles you set up.
It also stores the business details you choose to enter — business name, phone, email and website — which are printed on estimates you export, and the customer name and job address you attach to a quote.
All of this is stored locally on your device so that the app can remember your work between sessions. None of it is sent to us, and the app contains no code that uploads it.
Accounts
Window Cleaning Quote & Profit has no user accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no profile associated with you on our systems.
Analytics and crash reporting
No third-party analytics or advertising software is included in the app as currently built.
If crash reporting or analytics is added in a future version — for example to diagnose crashes reported by users — this page and the Google Play Data Safety declaration will be updated to describe what is collected before that version is published.
Purchases
Window Cleaning Quote & Profit offers a set of Premium features as a single one-time purchase, processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google processes payment information under its own privacy policy and terms.
What the app receives back from Google Play is your entitlement state, and the only thing it keeps on the device is a flag recording whether Premium is unlocked, so that it keeps working when you are offline.
Estimates you export
Exporting a customer estimate writes a PDF into the private cache area of the app and hands it to whichever application you pick in the Android share sheet. Each export replaces the previous file.
Once you share it, that file is in the hands of the application you sent it to — mail, messaging or cloud storage — and their terms apply to it rather than ours. An exported estimate contains the customer-facing price, the line items and your business details. It does not contain your costs, your margin or your profit.
Device backup
The app allows Android backup, so your device may include its data in your own Google backup. That backup belongs to your Google account and is governed by Google terms. It is not a transfer of your data to us, and we have no access to it. The Premium entitlement flag is excluded from backup, because entitlement is restored from Google Play rather than copied between devices.
Permissions
Window Cleaning Quote & Profit asks you for no Android permissions at all. It requests no location, storage, camera, microphone, contacts or calendar access, and no runtime permission prompt is ever shown.
The app declares no permissions of its own. Four appear in the installed package because the libraries it uses bring them in:
- com.android.vending.BILLING — used by Google Play Billing to make and restore the Premium purchase.
- android.permission.INTERNET — used by Google Play Billing for its own connection to Google. No other part of the app opens a network connection.
- android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — used by Google Play Billing to check connectivity.
- com.alviora.windowcleaningprofit.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION — created by the AndroidX Core library under the name of this app. It uses the signature protection level, which means only software signed with the same key can hold it. It asks nothing of you and produces no runtime permission prompt, and it gives access to no location, storage, camera, microphone, contacts or other device data. Its only purpose is to stop other applications reaching the broadcast receivers this app registers while it is running.
Children
Window Cleaning Quote & Profit is a business tool intended for professional and adult use. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Removing your data
The app has a Delete all local data control in its own Settings screen, which erases the saved quotes, recorded job results, pricing presets, cost profiles, preferences and business details it holds. It leaves the Premium entitlement flag alone, because a purchase made through Google Play is not local data that clearing the app should appear to revoke.
Because Window Cleaning Quote & Profit stores its data on your device, clearing the app data through Android settings, or uninstalling the app, also removes the information it holds. If you have written to us by email and would like that correspondence deleted, contact us and we will do so where we are able.
