About Window Cleaning Quote & Profit

Window Cleaning Quote & Profit is a focused Android tool for people who price window cleaning work on site. It builds a quote from the glass actually in front of you, works out what the job costs you to run, and shows the price that reaches the gross margin you set. Once the job is finished you can record what it really took, and compare that against the estimate you gave.

Planned features

These are the capabilities currently being built. The final release may differ.

  • Quotes built from window types, glass area, and inside/outside work
  • Add-on pricing for screens, tracks, frames, sills and hard water removal
  • Difficulty factors for height, access, ladder work and heavy soiling
  • Operating-cost estimation covering labour, overhead, travel and direct costs
  • Profit-safe pricing that flags jobs priced below a target gross margin
  • Estimate versus actual comparison once the job is done
  • Reusable pricing presets and cost profiles

Frequently asked questions

When will Window Cleaning Quote & Profit be available?

The app is still in development and does not yet have a public release date. It will appear on Google Play under the Alviora Apps developer account once it is ready, and this page will be updated with a download link at that point.

Which platforms will it support?

The first release targets Android. We have no announced plans for other platforms yet.

Does it use gross margin or mark-up?

Gross margin. A 40% target on $300 of cost produces a $500 price, not $420. The difference between the two is a common and expensive source of underpricing, so the app is explicit about which one it uses.

How much will it cost?

Pricing has not been finalised. The calculators are intended to stay usable without payment; any purchases made through the app would be handled by Google Play Billing.
